ABOUT US
Mission
- Our mission is to provide a comprehensive, individualized quality
continuum of care to chemically dependent, homeless women in an
environment conducive to the nurturing, educating, and rehabilitating
of the clients we serve.
History
- New Life for Women, Inc. was organized on October 2, 1988,
operating a seventeen (17) bed transitional (secondary) center
dedicated to the rehabilitation of homeless, chemically dependent
women. NLFW was the first program of its kind in central/south
Mississippi. Since that time NLFW has evolved into a 4-phase treatment
program, including primary, secondary, transitional, and aftercare.
Location
- Just three blocks from the heart of downtown Jackson, New Life
for Women is housed in an Antebellum home on the corner of North
Congress and Barksdale Streets.
